Here’s a tune I’ve written for Thanksgiving. I was thinking of the peace, calm and gratitude felt after gathering in the harvest; so this is a gentle, lilting waltz. It was written with bass viol in mind, as you’ll hear on the recording, though I expect it would transpose for other viola da gambas and other instruments.
Please download it, and I’ll be delighted to hear if you’re playing it. If you’re able to make a donation the link is here but don’t worry if not, it’s freely given for you to enjoy š

Thanksgiving Waltz
I liked the tune, but I’m not familiar with playing from the bass clef. I guess I should be able to play it.
There’s now a version in treble clef!
What an incredibly lovely piece you have written. Iām a beginner violinist and would love to be able to play this in the fiddle.
Thank you for sharing.
